That Writing Goal...

Back in the goal-setting frenzy I mentioned that I had a secret project. Today, it is revealed: I am a staff writer on Empty Easel. You can read the first in a series on free art education today.

Talk about synchronicty! I read a similar article today about how we don't have to have a degree to learn the most we can about a skill. I am SO proud of you for being published. The article is great and I look forward to reading your articles.

Well done Rose. They do say one should always write about things you know about - and you've certainly been a very dedicated student! ;)

Hi Rose,

I read your article before I saw your post here and I really enjoyed it - I'm looking forward to the others!

I see you rearranged your blog again! I saw Katherine's tip about looking at it on a laptop - is that what sparked the change? I intend to 'borrow' my husband's PC laptop this evening to check how my three columns look. Yours looks lovely - very clean design and a very simple sidebar.

Caroline, actually I got complaints from several people about how "busy" my blog looked. I had tested it on my laptop (where I work) and our desktop in several browsers. I was swayed when my husband said that he got lost and confused. It's one of those continual things...
