The history of sketching is long and vast. It crosses languages, cultures, and styles. Some artists managed to leave us thousands of sketches - impressive considering there were undoubtedly some that slipped through the cracks.
So today's sketching effort is a copy of a pen and wash drawing by a master of the past, Giovanni Battista Tiepolo. Just think, when he died in 1770 at the age of 72, the country I live in was not yet a country.
