Piling Up Your Scraps

from a photo I took at a zoo a few years ago

I've been snatching 30 minutes here and there to work on a new piece lately. We've had life happening all
over and I can barely keep up. So I've started just grabbing the few minutes as they crop up, hoping that in the end it all adds up.

There are advantages to working this way, beyond even just that sometimes it is the only way possible. :-) Somehow it doesn't seem as dramatic or grandiose as sitting down and cranking it out in a few long sessions - but it is better for the art and for me.

This sketch is a work in progress - I plan to add in a bit of color and punch the values, when I find my next scrap of time!
