Artists often talk about a piece going through an ugly stage - where it just seems there is no hope. If you haven't seen it, it probably doesn't make sense. So, today, I'm sharing with you the underbelly of a little something I'm working on.
One hopes I will have the courage to carry on or the wisdom to admit defeat...it's a tricky fork in the road.

ah yes the lovely ugly stage, when a lot of new artists give up and shouldn't. i post "ugly" art to show people it happens to everyone
