I took these photos on my trip to CA this summer. Does anyone know the name of these flowers? I’ve put a sketch in my flower book and I’d really like to be able to include the name.
Yep, the Maryland state flower. Reseeds like crazy, not originally native to the U.S. but still pretty. Survives amazing temperatures (it grows in the Sonoran desert), and a cut flower will last 6 to 10 days. Great picture!
