Last week a friend of mine, the Herb'n Cowgirl, came over for a visit. Along with her talents in all things garden, she is an art fan. She brought me some beautiful bearded irises to draw. Above you see one of many photos that I took. As I was taking photos and explaining to my sons that I was going to draw them (they have seen this behavior before), they asked for paper, pencils, and crayons.
James (6) drew and Jeremy (3) colored this:

I can see that your boys have definitely picked up your gift for art. What great drawings! :)
Isn't it fun when they are motivated to draw like this? Lovely.
And beautiful irises, lucky you!
Every once in a while, parenting feels natural ;-). My boys were thrilled that people commented on their drawings. And, I should say, that James has been taking an art class at school that has caused him to really make strides. He's currently working on a mosaic that he just can't stop talking about.
Fun. :D
Tell the boys they did a really good job and to keep up the good work. James what a nice boy to help your brothers by drawing their flowers for them to color.
