Horses are such strong, powerful animals. Here, rim lit and still, this powerful animal takes on a gentle feeling - a fascinating thing to behold.
I'm not sure that I've ever drawn a horse before - it certainly was a challenge. Thanks to the group at Daily Paintworks Challenge!

Yes, Jen, you have been doing horses and cats (big ones) lately. :D Is there a theme to your college work or do you just like drawing them?
we had to pick a theme for one of the modules, chose horses, should have chosen something else :p
