Jo, you've had so much on, that makes the year fly! We are pretty well settled in. Thinking about where to go for our first NC vacation - fun stuff. Hugs back.
Hi Rose, Way back in the 80s we went to Fontana Dam. There was a State Park or something that had old barracks/cabins and we rented a 3 bedroom cabin and met David and his family there. Hiking, miniature golf, swimming, I took a painting class, etc. It was beautiful and not as expensive as some places. Don't know if it is still there. 'Course the beaches are great, too!
