A few weeks ago I decided to buy a sketchbook for the summer. I thought it might be a fun thing to look at in later years. (Julie's Pictures is a blog that I enjoy immensely. I don't know her or her family, but it is a rather intriguing idea of recording the family.)It's just a small book, perfect for quick sketches and portable too. We took the boys to the zoo the other week. The sketchbook came along. I had great fun when the boys were playing in the sandbox. Above you see a quick recording of the 3 of them working on building "the biggest sandcastle ever." It was fun to see them work together towards a goal, even if it only lasted five minutes.
