We Three Pumpkins Are

We Three Pumpkins Are oil on gessoed board, 8 in x 10 in

This is my entry for this week's Different Strokes from Different Folks challenge.

I've been very intimidated by the quality of entries the last few weeks...so, I figured I better enter once before I lose the nerve!

It's my 14th oil painting.

No need to be intimidated Rose. These pumpkins are wonderful. I can't imagine how great oil painting #114 will be!

I do love this painting. The values and colours work so well in it.

I've had my eye on participating in Karen's thread and finally took time today to work on the same pumpkins. Its great fun.

Rose, I think all the hard work you've been putting in is really starting to show lately. You've done so well with your oil painting. I love the looseness you've managed and you've put all that theory on values, colour, everything into practice in a really great way. Keep up the good work! I don't think you should be at all intimidated by posting on Different Strokes, this is every bit as good as anything else there.
